Jasmine S35 Acoustic Reviews 5

I decided to learn how to play the guitar with my 9 year old son. So I started surfing the web looking for a good starter guitar for him. I came upon Worldmusic.com and spotted the perfect guitar. It was a Jasmin S35, for only $89.00. I couldn't pass up a deal like this so I bought it. I still had to find one for myself, which I did and now we are learning together. It's a good father/son thing to do. We play and talk, life's good.

I love tonal quality of the guitar, granted it was very inexpensive, it sounds great. It also has good fret action, that is really good for little fingers.

I haven't found anything that I dislike about it,yet.

It is a dreadnought style guitar in natual wood color. It has a rosewood fret board, and pearl fret markers. The spruce top is vaneered but looks solid. It is a nice looking guitar. The neck adjustment feature is great in case the neck warps or bows.

If I had to buy another starter guitar I would highly recomend this Jasmin. Granted there are alot nicer guitars out there, but for the money this one is the best.

Guitar dad rated this unit 5 on 2002-02-20.
